Why Quiet Carry
A quiet carry is one you do not notice at the end of the round.
The idea
Wes Hartigan noticed that golfers who walked enjoyed the game more, but their bags were built for carts. He set out to fix that.
The shop
The shop opened on Camino del Rio in 2014 with a bench, a monitor and a scale. The first customer was a retired schoolteacher who wanted to carry nine holes without resting.
Growing
Imogen joined in 2017 and Teo in 2021. The shop has stayed small and walking-friendly.
